Saturday’s training was pretty tough on the guys. They were beat up from the heavy lifts during the week, but we had to push through to really build up on their mental toughness and keep preparing for 9/16- our competition date.
Alex hit a great PR Front Squatting for 265×5
James Snatched 90k for 2 singles despite a guy doing cable flys in front of him. We’ll talk about this later on Wednesday so keep an eye for “Unwritten Rules of Weightlifting” part 2.
Alex hit a PR hang clean for 100k
Meatball was struggling a bit but still got in some good lifts in, despite his massive headache and shoulder issue.
Reid’s full lifts are really coming along, the way he’s developing we can see some nice PR’s with crisp technique coming soon!
